Molendinar QLD 4214
Leadership, engineering, production and service - the national hub.
Riggers, fabricators, engineers, technicians, drape makers, project managers. We hire people who’ve done the work backstage and want to stay close to it - 70+ of them, across four states.
TSA started in a Gold Coast garage in 2014. Twelve years on, we’re 70+ people across four states, doing the rigging, hoisting, automation, drape and scenic work for hundreds of Australian venues and productions.
The work is real and it’s hands-on. We engineer, manufacture, install and service the systems that hang above a stage - in theatres, schools, houses of worship, arenas and on the road. Designed by industry doers.
Most of our team came up through the industry, not into it. If you’ve worked the tools backstage and want to keep building, this is a place that values what you already know - and backs you to learn the rest.
Eight disciplines, one payroll. Wherever you fit, the work is in-house and end-to-end - concept to commissioning. Pick a team to see what they actually build, and where the work goes.
Chain hoists, controllers, truss and the gear that holds the load. We design it, supply it, install it and service it - so the people who hang it know it inside out.
See the work →Stage curtains, tracks and tabs, cut and sewn in our Melbourne workshop. FR-treated, weighted and finished by hand, then installed by our own crews.
See the work →Set builds and props from our Adelaide workshop - metal, timber and everything in between, with the engineering paperwork to back it. Concept to strike.
See the work →The technical side of a show - production management, technical design, cue-driven motion control. Off-the-shelf stops, we keep going, to the cue sheet you actually have.
See the work →Venue fit-outs and system upgrades, from new-build PACs to retrofit refurbishments. Engineered, documented and signed off - one team from fit-out to commission.
See the work →Keeping stage systems inside safe parameters, on schedule, with the documentation to back it. On the road across the country, in venues we kitted out and plenty we didn’t.
See the work →Picking, prepping and running kit out to venues and productions nationwide. Calendar-driven, on the road, the same gear we sell - available when the show needs it.
See the work →The team behind the team. Relationship managers who’ve worked the floor, mechanical engineers, drafters, finance, admin and marketing - all close to the work.
Meet TSA →We value our clients’ relationships over the revenue of the company. The team will not sacrifice the solution or its quality for the client over the bottom line.
We value people who enjoy and rise to the challenge - resolving it on site, and turning the hardest problems into new solutions and product designs.
Positivity that leaves the client confident in TSA, builds a genuine sense of community in the team, and carries into every solution we create.
The bar is set twice - by the company and by our clients. The team is motivated to clear both, on every job.
Creative, progressive problem solving and solution design - in the workshop and on site. The push that moves the company, and the industry, forward.
