A mirror is how a dancer
sees the line they are training.
Cheap glass distorts, fogs at the edges and chips where the wall meets it. In a working studio that runs from morning class to evening rehearsal, a mirror is not a fit-out afterthought. It is the equipment a dancer checks against every correction, and it needs to be flat, clear and safely fixed for years.
Our studio mirrors are 6 mm silver glass with polished edges, made in Australia and supplied Australia wide. Portable mirrors run on a tubular steel frame with lockable castors so the room can change; wall mirrors are installed to AS 1288 by our glazier in Melbourne, with certification on request. Every mirror is measured and made for the space, then backed by a 10-year warranty. It is one part of the full Dance & Studio Equipment range. Every TSA mirror shares the same 6 mm silver glass with polished edges. What changes is how it is held: fixed to the wall, or framed on castors so the room can change around it.

Fixed flat to the wall.
A run of 6 mm silver glass measured and fixed to your wall by our own glazier, installed to AS 1288 with certification available on request - wall-mounted installation is available in Melbourne. We work around barre brackets and wall features so the mirror sits flat and reads true from edge to edge. This is the standard fit-out for a working studio wall.

A 6 mm mirror face on a tubular steel frame with 12 mm MDF backing, set on lockable castors. The glass is 1.8 x 1.8 m, about 1.98 m overall on the frame, and the unit weighs roughly 100 kg, so it stays put when the castors are locked and moves when they are released. Built for halls and multi-use rooms that change between classes.

A studio wall is rarely a clean rectangle. The glass can be cut with custom cut-outs around barre brackets, power points, fixtures and other wall features, so the mirror fits the wall as built rather than forcing the wall to fit the mirror. We measure first, then cut to match.

Wall mirrors are installed to AS 1288, the Australian standard for glass in buildings, and certification is available on request. For a school or a facility manager, that is the document that goes on file against the install. Ask for it with the quote and we will supply it with the job.
