Stage drape hire, made with FR fabrics to AS 1530 standards, delivered Australia wide by TSA
Stage-ready drapes. Flame retarded, on the truck, on your dates.
Masking blacks, house velvets, voiles, scrims, legs and borders from our hire fleet, made with FR fabrics which meet AS 1530 standards, inspected and maintained between hires. Tell us the room and the dates, and we get it there.
Know the hire stock
before you call.
Answer five quick questions. The Drape Selector matches the fabric, fullness and opening style to your room, then turns it into a spec you can send with your hire dates, so we can check stock and quote faster.

Tight dates.
Compliant stock.
You need flame-retarded drapes for a run, not a storeroom full of soft goods you own for the other fifty weeks of the year. Hire gives you stage-ready stock for the dates you actually book, made with FR fabrics which meet AS 1530 standards, cleaned and inspected before it leaves the depot.
Tell us the room and the dates and we will quote the stock, get it there, and take it back when the show wraps. It is one part of the full drape services range, and if hire turns into something permanent there is a hire-to-buy path to your own sets.
Four jobs. One hire fleet.
Different jobs,
different stock.
The fleet covers the curtain-and-masking work plus the scenic stock most shows ask for. Here is what we hold, what each one does, and how to spec the one your room needs.
Every category is made with FR fabrics which meet AS 1530 standards, inspected and maintained in-house between hires. We explain the ratings here.
Masking that reads true black.
Matte wool serge legs, borders, tabs and travellers, pulled from stock. It soaks up stray light so the masking reads true black from the seats, and it is IFR for life, so the rating never lapses on a hire. The workhorse of the fleet, in the quantities a full set needs.
Check availabilityFront of house, for the run.
Deep-nap velvets and velours for house curtains, reveals and valances, when you want the look for a season rather than a lifetime. Inherent grades hold their FR for the life of the fibre; where a velour is treated, we confirm the rating on the colour you book.
Check availabilityLight through, look soft.
Sheer voiles for soft reveals, overlays and colour washes that let light and projection through while softening the stage picture. Light to fly and easy to layer over heavier drapes, so the look changes without a re-rig.
Check availabilityNow you see it.
Sharkstooth gauze for the classic reveal: solid under front light, transparent when you light through it. Hired for transformation moments, bleed-throughs and depth, with the FR maintained in-house before it ships.
Check availabilityA clean upstage wall.
Seam-minimised poly cyc and filled cloth for an even lighting and projection surface across the back of the stage. The blank canvas a lighting designer colours from nothing, hung flat and taut.
Check availabilityThat is the core of the fleet. We also hold moltons, legs, borders, tab tracks and specialty textured stock, plus ties and webbing as standard. Sizes are quoted on request, so tell us the room and the dates and we will confirm the stock, or browse the full soft-goods range to buy.
