Emergency Callouts - emergency support for stage rigging, hoist and control-system faults, built into TSA's Service & Inspection Programme, delivered by the people who already know your rig, Australia wide

Compliance & Service · Emergency Callouts

When it fails, call the people who know your rig.

When a hoist, rigging or control-system fault threatens a performance, you need the people who already know your rig - not a stranger reading a manual. Emergency support is built into TSA's Service & Inspection Programme: we triage, make safe and document the fix, Australia wide.

How emergency support works

The relationship is
the response.

When a hoist, rigging or control-system fault threatens a performance, you need the people who know your rig - not a stranger reading a manual. Emergency support is built into TSA's Service & Inspection Programme: a venue we already service is a venue we can get to, triage and make safe, with the work documented afterward.

The faster route to support in a crisis is being on programme before one happens. Because we already hold your asset register and your grading history, the call starts with what we know about your equipment - so the conversation is about the fix, not the inventory. The same Competent Inspection Officers who inspect your systems are the ones who come back when something fails.

What happens when you call Process, not a clock
A five-step blueprint flow showing how an emergency call is handled: Call, Triage, Attend, Make safe and fix, then Document and follow up. The Make safe step is highlighted in orange. This shows the process, not a response-time number. YOU CALL WE CLOSE IT OUT 1 Call Your contact reaches the team that already knows your rig. 2 Triage What has failed, what is still safe, what has to stop now. 3 Attend We work around your performances, not through them. 4 Make safe, then fix Stabilise the immediate risk first, then resolve the cause. 5 Document The fault, the fix and the follow-up, added to your record.

Process clarity, not a clock. We do not publish a single response time we could not honour everywhere - response expectations are set with you when you come on programme. What stays constant is the sequence: triage, make safe, fix, document.

How it works

Triage, make safe,
then put it on the record.

Emergency support is not a phone number you hope someone answers. It is the same support model TSA has run on a major touring engagement - shaped to your venue and your season, and built into your programme.

The relationship is what makes the response fast.

A venue we already service is a venue we can triage and make safe quickly, because we are not learning your rig in a crisis. Start a programme and emergency support comes with it.

There is no single response time we publish, because we will not promise a number we cannot honour everywhere - response expectations are set with you when you come on programme. What we can promise is the sequence, and the people: the same Competent Inspection Officers who run your Service & Inspection Programme are the ones who answer when something fails.

If your question isn't here, call us or send your venue detail - we will come back with the right answer for your room.

Yes - and to every venue, not only the ones we already service. Call and we will triage what has failed. For established service clients we already hold the asset register and grading history, so the response is faster and the callout costs less - we start from what we know, not from scratch.
It depends on your programme, your location and the nature of the fault - so we set expectations with you when you come on programme rather than publishing a single number we can't honour everywhere.
Hoist, rigging, fly-system and control-system faults, drape and track faults, show-week failures, and damaged or condemned gear that needs to be made safe and assessed.
Yes. On many of the systems we support we can log in remotely, diagnose the fault and start support before anyone is on the road - which often resolves a breakdown faster, and gives the attending technician a clear brief when a visit is still needed.
No - emergency callouts are open to everyone. The difference is what we already know: for venues on a Service & Inspection Programme we hold the asset register and service history, so triage starts from your records, the response is faster and the cost stays down.
Make the area safe, stop using the affected system and clear anyone from underneath it. Then call TSA on 1300 439 872. If you are on the Service & Inspection Programme we already know your rig - we can triage the fault over the phone, help you make it safe, and attend to resolve and document the cause.
Set it up before you need it

Be a venue
we already know.

The faster route to support in a crisis is being on programme before one happens. Tell us about your venue and your stage systems, and we will set up a Service & Inspection Programme so the people who know your rig are the people you call - here and Australia wide.
